Combination of Essential Fatty Acids
The food supplement Omega 3-6-9 is composed of 2 groups of essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6), ie, those that the body can not synthesize, so it must be obtained through diet; and omega 9 fatty acids nonessential, but the amounts that the body produces is not enough. Therefore, to reach the requirements is desirable to obtain from external sources such as food supplements. We know that the essential fatty acids that gives us the omega 3 are ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), while those provided by the omega 6 are the LA (linoleic acid) and AA (arachidonic acid).
Regular consumption of omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids has beneficial effects on our body: it helps to reduce levels of low density lipoprotein (LDL) that are part of the so-called bad cholesterol increasing high-density lipoprotein ( HDL) that make up the good cholesterol; has anti-inflammatory effects in organs and tissues, it stimulates the immune system, helps strengthen bones, stimulates the nervous system and allows regeneration of cells.
